Dear
Parents and Friends of FCA,
It
is with great excitement that we announce a few changes to our staff at FCA for the 2017-2018 school year. While we are
disappointed to be losing one staff member, we are thrilled to let you know
about the changes that we are making to fill that vacancy.
Mrs.
Hinen has submitted her resignation and will be returning to Whitley County
Consolidated Schools. In her place we
have hired Catherine Bertrand. Mrs.
Bertrand has just moved to the Columbia City area and brings a great deal of successful
public school teaching experience with her. Additionally, we are creating a new position
“resource teacher" which will be filled by Alyssa Grawcock. She will work one-on-one and in small groups
with both gifted and struggling students.
She will be replaced in middle school by Mrs. Robin Koller who has
recently completed the classwork to renew her teaching license.
We
are excited about these changes and welcome you calls and e-mails with any
questions you may have about them.
